Mobile Fun with Ninjago Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt
Note: This page is updated from time-to-time as we discover more barcodes on local LEGO store shelves. So bookmark this page and visit often.
The Ninjago Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt is a free game for Apple devices that supports iOS 4 operating system. The Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt game is a great add-on for existing Ninjago fans on-the-go.
The Battle Arena matches are basically ‘graphical’ version of what we play with the toys and spinners. The ability to gradually upgrade Kai from the village blacksmith kid to a Spinjitzu master with different weapons, armors, and spinners will surely make a Ninjago (especially Kai) fan, like Marcus, spend hours to defeat skeleton after skeleton in the Arena.
The Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt Story Mode Warning to Parents
The Story Mode is a bit iffy for me as a parent but I do think it’s a solid marketing tactic by LEGO because it is a very marketing-oriented segment of the game.
If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, in certain levels, you need to scan bar codes from different LEGO toys in order to proceed or purchase additional in-game items.
Then again, they did call it the Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt!!!
While you’re not required to purchase these items to obtain the bar code, since you can just pop into a LEGO store or toy shop to scan the bar code, it does seem like a recipe for disaster for kids who tend to, uhm, ‘force’ their way to get their parents to get what they want. If you know what I mean.
Luckily for me, Marcus doesn’t like the story mode too much and he never bothers me for any toys anyway (he knows I’ll buy them eventually anyway, for myself!).
If you’re a parent, make your life easier by printing out a list of bar codes used in the game. I’ve listed the bar codes necessary for the Story Mode so you won’t need to drop the the toy shop anymore. Besides, you prefer buying the toys through our Ninjago Shop, because you guys are nice enough to help buy our own Ninjago stuff, right? *hint hint* :D
Nevertheless, it’s a very decent and easy to play game for Ninjago fans, and it’s easy to see how LEGO can make kids who are unaware of Ninjago (and other LEGO theme toys) to be big fans of the Ninjago series very quickly with this app.
Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt Stages and Where To Find The Barcode
I’ll try to list down EXACTLY which product’s barcode you need to capture on every stage in the table below:
Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt Complete Bar Code Cheat List
Here’s a sorted list of bar codes for Ninjago Spinjitzu Scavenger Hunt, I still have a couple of missing items, so feel free to add it in the comments so I can complete the list. If you need help on what each box contains, just hop on back to the product page.
Note that in some parts of the game, the game will only give you an ITEM CLUE, you’ll need to know in which set that clue exists in in order to know the barcode of the package.
For example, if the clue was to locate a black scorpion, you’ll need to enter the Ninja Training Outpost‘s (Set 2516) barcode as that’s where you’ll find the scorpion (read the description I’ve provided in each of the item).
If you’re stumped in the game, come back here and use the search bar to locate the specific clue in the catalog.
